MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO

Hey, I'm Sarah Kennett

Hi, I’m Sarah Kennett — founder of Science Café and on a mission to make exams less stressful and science way more exciting.

Before I found my calling in education, I spent years in the private sector in pharmaceuticals and publishing, picking up real-world experience that’s shaped how I teach today.

With degrees in Biochemistry and Physics, plus a Master’s in Teaching Leadership, I bring both depth and creativity to how I support young learners.

I’ve led science departments in three different schools and helped hundreds of students succeed — many of whom were struggling before they found the right kind of support. My teaching has been rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, but more importantly, it's made a real difference to real families.

At Science Café, we believe science shouldn’t be scary. It should feel like an adventure — full of discovery, curiosity, and those brilliant “aha!” moments. I'm here to break things down, build confidence, and make the journey to exams a whole lot easier.
